Dr Cameron Ritchie - CEO / Inventor

Cameron has always been passionate about helping people and the environment. Cameron is particularly interested in technological innovations that have the potential to make processes more efficient, cheaper, and facilitate positive change in people’s lives.

This passion is reflected through his wide-breadth of research and work, including his theoretical work to improve drug-delivery vehicles in his Masters, programming of instant data-analysis programs, development of intuitive & automated financial trading systems with RitchViewer, and most recently the design and implementation of highly cost-effective solar electricity solutions during his PhD and with his start-up company RitchEnergy.

RitchEnergy is a start-up clean-tech company based around a revolutionary technology which both lowers the cost of solar farms by a large margin and increases the speed and size of construction of solar farms, making solar PV the cheapest source of electricity.

Colin Ritchie - Managing Director / CFO

Colin brings his business building strengths to RitchEnergy as Managing Director and Chief Finance Officer having previously built an international business with Merrill Lynch New York, as well as being a responsible manager on a number of Australian Financial Services Licences over the past twenty years.

Colin has worked in financial markets since 1988. Colin’s extensive industry experience has seen his family located in London as well as in New York. Colin’s past roles have included Portfolio Manager at Agora Asset Management, a long/short hedge fund; Risk Manager at Merricks Capital, a multi-strategy Pan Asian Hedge fund; Executive Director at Morgan Stanley (NY) specialising in financial analysis and modelling; Managing Director and CEO of GPQS (London), a business providing equity analytics to investment institutions and consultants; and Senior Quantitative Analyst at HSBC James Capel delivering an equity-based Portfolio Risk Analyser to managers across the globe.

External to RitchEnergy; Colin is the Chief Operating Officer of First Empire Capital and is actively involved in Portfolio Management & Risk Management technology through a tier-one institutional platform he owns and supports with overseas clients.

Colin is a Fellow with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
